# Importing a wallet

It is recommended to import secret recovery phrases that were generated by Ghost wallet. Importing a seed phrase from another wallet is possible, but is risky and not recommended.

1. Click Import Wallet from landing page
2. Create a new password
3. Enter in your 12-word secret recovery phrase
4. Click Next
